NAME

       switchto - switch to a new virtual terminal (VT).

SYNOPSIS

       switchto vtnumber

DESCRIPTION

       switchto  will  change  the  current  VT to the vt specified. Useful to
       change VTs when the hotkey sequence is unavailable for some reason,  or
       from within scripts.
